ACI Worldwide (NASDAQ: ACIW), an original innovator in global payments technology, today announced that the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati (FHLB Cincinnati) is moving the payment processing behind its member funding services to ACI Connetic.
FHLB Cincinnati Advances outstanding grew in the first half of 2026. Funding a member Advance and taking a repayment both generate payment activity, and it has to be handled at whatever volume the day brings. Connetic will be delivered as a service. ACI operates the platform, and FHLB Cincinnati teams manage the payment operations that run on it.
“Our mission is to support our members and their communities by providing funding where and when needed with a high level of accuracy and reliability,” said Andrew S. Howell, president and chief executive officer, FHLB Cincinnati. “Our partnership with Connetic allows our people to focus on servicing our members while having the confidence of strong connectivity to major payment networks and clearing systems.”
ACI Connetic supports connectivity to major payment networks and clearing systems from a single platform, and each institution determines which connections its own implementation includes. The Fedwire Funds Service is the connection in scope for FHLB Cincinnati. More on ACI Connetic is at www.aciworldwide.com/solutions/payments-hub.
“Advance volume moves with what members need, and the payment behind it has to work every time. Connetic will give FHLB Cincinnati the ability to continue offering reliable payments in an efficient way with industry-leading technology,” said Scotty Perkins, executive vice president, product management, payment software, ACI Worldwide. “Our job is the platform. Theirs is the payments, and the members waiting on them.”
FHLB Cincinnati is one of 11 district banks in the Federal Home Loan Bank System, chartered by Congress in 1932 to provide liquidity for housing finance. The System’s district banks are government-chartered, member-owned and privately capitalized, and together serve roughly 6,300 member financial institutions.
